Sitting there in the soft golden light was this beautiful Belted Kingfisher, completely still, almost as if he had been placed there intentionally for the scene.What made the moment even more striking was the old fishing lure hanging from the side of the post beneath him. Rusted and forgotten, it swayed gently with the slightest breeze. For a second, it almost felt as though the kingfisher himself had left it there after an early morning hunt. Nature has a funny way of creating little stories for us if we slow down enough to notice them.

I print using a Canon PRO-1100 printer with pigment based inks that resist fading up to 200 years. I use high quality gloss or luster based photo paper to ensure the photos pop in color. If you would like the photo’s to have a surrounding border please reach out to me at the time of ordering. If you are picking up order in person prices will be reduced as I will remove the shipping costs built in.
