More about me ...

I grew up in the rural Durham region, surrounded by rolling farmer’s fields and the quiet rhythm of country life. Right beside our house was a dairy cow pasture, and beyond it stretched endless acres of crops that changed with the seasons — peas, corn, oats, barley, and fall wheat swaying in the summer breeze. As a kid, those fields felt like an endless world waiting to be explored.

Wildlife was simply part of everyday life. It wasn’t unusual to spot deer stepping cautiously along the edge of a field at dusk or hear coyotes calling in the distance after sunset. Occasionally a groundhog would poke its head from a hole in the earth while skunks and rabbits wandered through the property as if they belonged there just as much as we did. Above us, mallards and Canada geese crossed the skies while hawks circled overhead searching the fields below. Songbirds filled the air with sound, and our backyard became a gathering place for Baltimore Orioles, Cardinals, Robins, and Blue Jays. One of our neighbours even had a Purple Martin birdhouse that drew the graceful birds into the surrounding countryside every year.

Your pet is more than just an animal — they’re family, a loyal companion who shares in your everyday life and creates countless memories along the way. From the excitement in their eyes when they see you, to the quiet moments spent together, every pet has a unique personality and story worth capturing. Whether they are energetic and playful, calm and gentle, or full of funny little habits that make you smile, those moments deserve to be remembered forever.

Photography has a way of freezing time, preserving the bond and connection you share long after the moment has passed. A simple look, a playful run through the grass, paws splashing through the water, or the comfort of them sitting beside you can become memories you will cherish for a lifetime. These are more than just photographs — they are reminders of unconditional love, companionship, and the joy your pet brings into your world every single day.

I would love the opportunity to capture those genuine moments between you and your pet in a relaxed and natural way. My goal is not only to create beautiful images, but to tell your story through photographs that reflect their spirit and the special connection you share together. Watching the smile on your face as you see those memories come to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Years from now, these photographs will become treasured keepsakes — moments frozen in time that allow you to relive the love, happiness, and companionship your pet brought into your life.
